Communities

The Exploration Science team works closely with the wider scientific community through advisory working groups (LSWG/PSWG/SSEWG), advisory committees (HESAC), and topic-focused teams like Topical Teams, Definition Teams, etc. These structures bring together leading scientists from across Europe and beyond to help evaluate scientific priorities, shape research activities and guide mission planning. Through this collaborative approach, ESA ensures that its activities reflect the latest scientific knowledge and the needs of the research community.
